Short answer: None.
Today In Time does NOT collect or transmit:
The App stores a small amount of preference data locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. None of this is transmitted off-device.
| Data Type | What It Is | Where It Lives |
|---|---|---|
| Tone preference | Whether you prefer Uplifting or Balanced events | Your device only |
| Reading density | Compact, Standard, or Comfortable layout | Your device only |
| Reactions | Thumbs up / thumbs down you give to events | Your device only |
This data never leaves your device. It is used solely to remember your settings and reactions between sessions.
The historical events shown in the app are bundled inside the App itself. The App does not need an internet connection to display events, and it does not call any servers (operated by us or by anyone else) to fetch, log, or report what you read.
The Today In Time widget displays a single event from the same bundled content on your home screen. The widget reads the same local data as the App, performs no network requests, and does not collect information about you.
Today In Time does not request any device permissions. It does not access:
Today In Time does NOT integrate:
The only platform services involved are Apple's own iOS APIs (e.g., UserDefaults, WidgetKit), which run on your device.
Today In Time does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt is therefore not shown, and the App's privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.
Because all of your data is local, you control its lifetime entirely:
Since we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Today In Time does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The App contains no advertising, no accounts, and no communication features.
Your preferences and reactions stay on your device. Because we do not receive your data, no international data transfer takes place.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information.
Our compliance: We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. We will never sell your data.
EU/EEA residents have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and portability of personal data. Because we do not collect or process your personal data, these rights are satisfied by default. Your data remains entirely under your control on your own device.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. If a future version of the App begins collecting any data, we will update this Policy and surface the change inside the App before that collection begins.
