Somnora is built for private sleep reflection. We keep collection relatively narrow, use data to deliver the features you choose to use, and avoid turning your journal into an advertising asset.
What We Collect
- Sleep duration, sleep stages, and timing data you choose to share through Apple HealthKit.
- Journal entries, dream notes, and other reflections you enter directly in the product.
- Voice recordings and transcriptions when you choose to use voice capture or voice-based features.
- Basic contact or account details needed for access, billing support, and service communication.
- Technical diagnostics and service metadata reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the product during beta.
How We Use It
- To generate sleep summaries, pattern observations, and calm next-step prompts inside Somnora.
- To process optional AI-powered features you choose to use, including Nora responses, voice playback, and dream imagery.
- To maintain your account, support troubleshooting, and improve product reliability during beta.
- To operate privacy-first AI workflows without selling private journaling content.
Your Controls
- You can export available data and clear local data from the app. If you need help with account or server-side data requests, contact us at privacy@somnora.app.
- We do not sell private entries or use them as advertising inventory.
- We aim not to use private entries to train public-facing AI models and configure our services with that goal in mind.
- HealthKit data stays permission-based, and you can revoke access from Apple Health at any time.
